Mobile Software Developer (SaaS Healthcare)

About the role

As a Mobile Software Developer II you will join MEDFAR’s mobile team to design, build and evolve cross‑platform applications that bring the company’s cloud‑based healthcare platform to clinicians and patients. Working with React Native, you will create intuitive, reliable mobile experiences that support real‑world clinical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship cross‑platform features in React Native for iOS and Android, focusing on performance and user experience.
• Evaluate and select components, libraries and architectural patterns that balance short‑term needs with long‑term maintainability.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code and contribute unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve the team’s development, testing and release processes.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and senior developers to deliver cohesive, user‑focused solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, communicate blockers early and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Demonstrated ability to write high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Strong interest in performance, quality and the end‑user experience.
• Team‑player mindset with a willingness to learn and mentor.
• Residency in the province of Quebec.
• Looking for a permanent full‑time role (40 h/week).
