Mobile Android Developer – Toronto (Onsite)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Android Developer to join our product team in Toronto. The role is full‑time and requires five days a week on‑site, focusing on building high‑quality Android applications that deliver delightful user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into functional features.
• Optimize app performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and ensure compatibility across multiple Android API levels.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries while adhering to UI/UX standards.
• Maintain code quality through version control (Git) and automated testing.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Android development with a portfolio of released apps.
• Strong understanding of Android framework components and lifecycle management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and deliver high‑quality code.
