Mm-Wave IC Engineer – RFIC Design for 5G

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mm-Wave IC Engineer to lead the design and simulation of advanced RFIC blocks for 5G wireless communications. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional design teams to deliver high‑performance analog and mixed‑signal solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform IC simulations using Cadence, ADS, and HFSS environments.
• Create design schematics, run simulations, and develop Mm‑Wave and analog layout methodologies.
• Design core circuit blocks such as LNA, Mixer, Phase Shifter, Power Amplifier, Driver, and VGA for 5G applications.
• Collaborate with design teams and customers to define performance requirements and evaluate IC testing results.
• Contribute to large‑scale phased‑array transceiver and beamforming architectures (a plus).

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; strong coursework in electromagnetics.
• 3‑5 years of industrial RFIC design experience.
• Proficiency with RF/Mm‑Wave test equipment and EM simulation tools (HFSS, Sonnet, WIPL‑D, CST).
• Experience with analog (H‑SPICE, Laker ADP) and mixed‑mode (Cadence Virtuoso, Verilog) circuit design, as well as digital VLSI (Verilog HDL).
• Fluent English communication skills.
