Millwright – Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join Labatt’s St. John’s brewery as a Millwright, responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including disassembly, reassembly, gearbox overhauls, and bearing replacements.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for plant equipment.
• Ensure work complies with plant safety, housekeeping standards, and quality checks.
• Participate in work planning using work orders, planners, and part staging.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) licence or equivalent trade experience.
• Machinist or welder licence/experience is an asset.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum three years of mechanical and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to set up and operate machines such as lathe, vertical mill, band saw and drill press.
• Outstanding work ethic with strong attendance and safety record.
• Initiative and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
