Mid-Market Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Market Account Manager to join a leading international brokerage firm operating in Montreal. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of mid‑market commercial insurance clients, driving renewals, upselling and cross‑selling across a range of coverages.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a mid‑market portfolio with premiums ranging from $50,000 to $500,000.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through regular contact and service excellence.
• Manage policy renewals, identify upsell opportunities and cross‑sell additional insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure optimal risk solutions for clients.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial insurance sales or account management.
• Strong motivation for professional growth and learning.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a friendly, family‑like team environment.

Required skills

• AMF certification for commercial insurance.
• Knowledge of property insurance policies.
• Familiarity with civil liability and cyber insurance is an asset.
