Mid-junior React Developer

About the role

Archie is looking for a talented Mid‑junior React Developer to join its product team. You will help build and enhance web applications that power smart workplaces and coworking spaces, ensuring high performance, scalability and a great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop and launch new features using React and Next.js.
• Create responsive, visually appealing interfaces with styled‑components.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to turn mockups into functional components.
• Debug, profile and optimise applications for maximum performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate appropriate new technologies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• React (focus on Next.js)
• styled‑components for CSS-in‑JS styling
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• RESTful API consumption and asynchronous request handling
• Git version control
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme (nice‑to‑have)
• Knowledge of React Native for mobile and iPad apps (nice‑to‑have)
