Microsoft Systems Administrator – Hybrid Cloud & On‑Premises

About the role

Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a full‑time Microsoft Systems Administrator to manage a hybrid infrastructure that spans both cloud and on‑premises environments. The role focuses on identity, device, and security management using Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Azure services, and Active Directory.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID – lifecycle, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM.
• Manage Microsoft 365/Office 365 tenant, user access, and licensing.
• Maintain hybrid identity with Azure AD Connect, SSO, and password protection.
• Configure and operate Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance, app deployment, and security baselines.
• Support Windows Autopilot, endpoint provisioning, patching, and Defender for Endpoint policies.
• Provide MDM for iOS and Android devices.
• Administer Azure infrastructure – VMs, virtual networks, NSGs, Azure Firewall, storage, backup, Site Recovery, and automation.
• Maintain on‑premises AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid integrations.
• Perform server maintenance, monitoring, and patching.
• Offer basic support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environments.
• Document procedures, create support guides, and collaborate with security and application teams.
• Participate in on‑call and after‑hours support as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience managing Microsoft cloud and hybrid environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting hybrid Active Directory and identity synchronization.
• Basic knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
