Merchandiser – Retail Store

About the role

We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store in Brampton. You will help deliver health, beauty and convenience products while keeping the customer at the centre of every task.

Key responsibilities

• Organise back‑room inventory and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
• Use PDT and MMS systems to perform daily merchandising tasks, including product placement, expiry monitoring and exit‑strategy management.
• Receive merchandise, maintain a tidy back‑room, and complete required documentation.
• Ensure store displays are consumer‑focused, “shoppable”, and meet store image standards.
• Provide courteous customer service, adhere to uniform policy, and support the Front Store Manager as needed.
• Comply with health and safety, loss‑prevention, and store standards.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing floor situations, and lift up to 50 lb.
• Flexible availability for nights and weekends.
• Basic cash handling accuracy when applicable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PDT system.
• Proficiency with MMS system.
• Experience operating a cash register.
