Merchandiser

About the role

We are looking for a Merchandiser to join a locally owned Pharmaprix store, delivering health, beauty and convenience services while keeping the customer at the centre of every activity.

Key responsibilities

• Organise back‑room product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
• Use PDT and MMS systems to perform daily merchandising tasks, manage exit strategies and product returns.
• Maintain product placement, monitor expiry dates and ensure displays are consumer‑focused and “shoppable”.
• Receive merchandise according to store policies, keep the back‑room tidy and complete all required documentation.
• Support the Front Store Manager in up‑holding store quality, standards and loss‑prevention policies.
• Provide courteous customer service, adhere to uniform and dress code, and assist shoppers on the floor.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and perform any additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Efficient, organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Accurate cash handling when applicable.
• Basic computer and cash‑register proficiency.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
