Medical Writer, Scientific Communications

About the role

Prime is seeking a Medical Writer to join its scientific communications team. You will work closely with scientists to create high‑quality medical content that supports client objectives and complies with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare copy for abstracts, scientific posters, manuscripts, slide decks, medical affairs deliverables and other communication formats.
• Ensure all deliverables meet company standards for grammar, scientific accuracy, and client goals.
• Manage your own tasks, deadlines, and project budgets to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Liaise with clients and external thought leaders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Interpret and incorporate internal and external review comments while maintaining consistency and compliance.
• Contribute to research across therapeutic areas and stay updated on disease trends, competitors, and emerging data.
• Accurately track time against project budgets.

Required profile

• Experience collaborating with scientific teams to produce medically accurate content.
• Strong understanding of industry compliance and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive attitude toward learning disease areas and emerging scientific data.
