Mechanical Engineer – Project Manager (HVAC & Plumbing)

About the role

Join a well‑known engineering consultancy as a Mechanical Engineer‑Project Manager within the Vancouver Mechanical Engineering group. You will lead mechanical projects for new builds and tenant improvements, focusing on HVAC and plumbing systems while collaborating with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and documentation for HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Prepare construction documents, equipment specifications, and technical reports.
• Conduct site evaluations, mechanical assessments, and building condition reviews.
• Coordinate project activities and maintain communication with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Represent the firm at meetings, industry events, and warranty reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience designing and inspecting building mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered or near registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
