Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing & Process

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing and processing operations in the oil & gas sector. The role is onsite and involves research, design, and optimisation of mechanisms, components and systems used in moulding, forming and thermal treatment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis of mechanical systems.
• Develop risk‑management plans for new and existing processes.
• Design, develop and specify processes for moulding, forming and thermal treatment of metals, alloys, ceramics and other materials.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate projects and support production operations.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
• Other trades certificate, diploma or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to relocate (relocation costs not covered).
• Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
• Own transportation and a valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• AutoCAD certification.
• Mastercam CAD/CAM proficiency.
• Experience with ERP software.
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows and computer‑aided design (CAD).
• Familiarity with NC and CNC systems.
