Mechanical Engineer Intern - Fall

About the role

CRB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern for the fall term to support the design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building support systems. Working under a mentor, you will contribute to real projects that serve the life sciences and food & beverage sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project documents such as calculations, design reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Assist in creating conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team.
• Perform load calculations, utility assessments, and energy modeling.
• Prepare code evaluations, plans, schedules, installation details, and specifications.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, contractors, and internal disciplines.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Strong interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
