Mechanical Engineer – Displays Division

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the Senior Mechanical Engineer Team Lead within our Displays division. You will help translate customer requirements into detailed designs for avionics and defense display assemblies, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design electro‑mechanical assemblies, including optical components and packaging.
• Create 3D SolidWorks part and assembly models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Perform tolerance, stress, and thermal analyses; support environmental qualification tests.
• Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Select materials, assign part numbers, and support manufacturing issue resolution.
• Collaborate with suppliers, quality, and program management to ensure product requirements are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (3D CAD modeling).
• Tolerance analysis.
• Mechanical stress and thermal management analysis.
• Environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal cycling).
• BOM creation and management.
• Engineering Change Order (ECO) processing.
• Material selection for aerospace/defense applications.
