Mechanic Helper

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mechanic Helper to join our team on‑site. The role is ideal for individuals who have completed secondary school and are eager to start a hands‑on career in a physically active environment, receiving on‑the‑job training. The position is based at our construction site and requires full‑time presence.

Key responsibilities

• Move tools, equipment and materials to support tradespersons and apprentices.
• Signal safety procedures to coworkers and the public to maintain a safe work area.
• Assist tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Willingness to learn and receive on‑the‑job training.
• Physical stamina for demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, crouching and kneeling.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety guidelines.
• Flexibility and good organisational skills.
