Materials Scientist – Research & Development

About the role

We are seeking a Materials Scientist to join our research institute and contribute to the development of advanced metals, alloys, ceramics and composite materials. The role is based on‑site in a clean‑room environment and offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct studies on the properties and production processes of metals and alloys.
• Research the composition, properties and manufacturing techniques of ceramics and composite materials.
• Perform testing, evaluation and validation of material samples.
• Utilise Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to model material behavior and support product development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in industrial R&D and fundamental research projects.
• Maintain clean‑room protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in materials research, testing, or industrial development.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain high attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player, quick learner and highly accurate in data handling.
