Materials & Logistics Lead

About the role

Moog is seeking a Materials & Logistics Lead to head the Materials & Logistics team at its Halifax, NS facility. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless material flow, warehousing, and internal logistics to support production and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Materials & Logistics team, fostering a safe and high‑performing environment.
• Oversee all material handling, warehousing, shipping, receiving and internal logistics activities.
• Ensure materials are received, stored, replenished and delivered efficiently to meet production schedules.
• Partner with Production, Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance teams to prioritize material needs and resolve issues.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through effective control practices, cycle counting and variance resolution.
• Monitor and drive key performance indicators related to logistics and inventory.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a materials or logistics team in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing and material handling processes.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with production, planning, procurement and finance.
• Excellent coaching, training and performance‑management skills.
