Marketing Planning Manager

About the role

Join a leading leisure airline as a Marketing Planning Manager, responsible for shaping and executing marketing plans for the Canadian point‑of‑sale. You will work closely with Growth Marketing, Revenue Management, and Commercial teams to align marketing initiatives with business performance, demand trends, and commercial priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual, quarterly and monthly marketing planning, translating commercial priorities and market dynamics into actionable plans.
• Partner with Revenue Management and Commercial teams to identify demand gaps and route opportunities where marketing can drive impact.
• Maintain an integrated marketing calendar and promotional strategy, ensuring visibility of campaigns, timing and resource allocation.
• Define promotional strategies, business rationale, offers, expected outcomes and success metrics.
• Prioritise marketing investments based on commercial inputs, performance insights and expected business impact.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Media teams to embed performance learnings into channel and media plans.
• Develop strategic campaign briefs and oversee smooth transition from planning to execution.
• Build strong cross‑functional partnerships across Brand, Product, Loyalty, Media, CRM and Analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing planning, growth marketing, business strategy or a similar role.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance trends and generate actionable recommendations.
