Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Shake Shack Canada is seeking a curious and culturally‑savvy storyteller to join its marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator. In this hands‑on role you will create scroll‑stopping content, manage the brand’s social presence and help build an engaged community across the company’s growing footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, shoot and edit original photo, video and graphic content for TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms.
• Capture real‑time moments at restaurants, events and partner activations and turn them into on‑brand social posts.
• Develop and maintain a social‑media content calendar that balances storytelling, trends and key brand moments.
• Plan and execute social and communications campaigns aligned with broader marketing strategies.
• Monitor cultural trends, platform updates and emerging formats to generate fresh content ideas.
• Respond to comments, guest queries and hospitality emails in a timely, brand‑consistent manner.
• Track and report on content performance, online reviews and audience feedback to inform future tactics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a fast‑paced, consumer‑focused environment, preferably within lifestyle, food or consumer brands.
• Proactive self‑starter who anticipates needs and thrives under tight deadlines.
• Strong visual storytelling instincts and the ability to juggle multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written communication and community‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video‑editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
• Solid photography and graphic creation abilities.
• Experience managing social‑media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
