Manufacturing Production Associate – Weekend Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Associate to work the weekend shift (Friday‑Sunday) in our Canadian facility. You will help produce high‑quality interior millwork, operate equipment, and support continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate power saws, nail guns and other machinery to produce products to exact specifications.
• Monitor machine operations, inspect finished goods and ensure product quality and consistency.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, report discrepancies and follow safe work practices.
• Assist with material handling, stacking lifts, and keep the work area clean of dust and debris.
• Utilise downtime to support other areas, perform measurements in metric and imperial units, and participate in training.

Required profile

• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Strong punctuality and attendance record.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to Metrie Canada quality standards.
• Capability to stand for long periods and work in dusty, painted environments.
