Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Airia Brands inc., a leader in residential and commercial HVAC solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its London, ON facility. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, optimizing processes, and supporting the introduction of new products to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce cost and increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues, reduce downtime and waste, and maintain work instructions and SOPs.
• Optimize workstation and plant layouts, balance production lines and enhance material flow.
• Collaborate with design, quality and production teams on new product introductions and provide manufacturability feedback.
• Lead Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and apply tools such as 5S and value‑stream mapping to eliminate waste.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement and layout optimization.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of manufacturability, production efficiency and fixture/tooling design.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Kaizen event facilitation.
• 5S methodology.
• Value‑stream mapping.
