Managing Director, PMO

About the role

PwC is seeking a Managing Director to lead its PMO and Project Management practice. You will drive large‑scale transformation programs, combining strategy, risk management, and execution for clients with budgets ranging from $100 M to $5 B.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of multiple consulting projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Set up and manage PMO structures, reporting progress to C‑suite sponsors.
• Lead pursuit teams, develop proposals, and create innovative methodologies for transformation engagements.
• Build and nurture client relationships to identify new large‑scale transformation opportunities.
• Develop business cases, market value propositions, and new consulting assets.
• Coach and grow the delivery team through hands‑on training and mentorship.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading PMO and Project Management practices for programs with budgets of $100 M+.
• Strong track record of delivering transformation programs across IT, compliance, and people‑change initiatives.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated thought‑leadership and sales capability within a consultancy environment.
