Manager, Workday Finance Solutions

About the role

British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is seeking a collaborative finance‑technology leader to manage its Workday Finance ecosystem. You will own the core financial applications, guide a team of Workday Finance Stewards, and ensure the platform delivers value across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, Strategic Sourcing, and Expenses modules.
• Lead the Workday Finance Steward team to provide day‑to‑day support for finance users.
• Partner with the Workday Platform Owner, HR Application Owner, and AMS vendor to coordinate system enhancements and service delivery.
• Monitor Workday’s product roadmap and champion adoption of new capabilities.
• Drive consistent, enterprise‑wide platform experiences within a matrixed environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Workday Finance (FINS) or Adaptive Planning operations.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong influencing and collaboration skills across finance, technology, and business teams.
• Passion for building digital confidence and supporting end‑users.
