Manager, Retail Inventory Operations

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Manager, Retail Inventory Operations to lead in‑store inventory management across its US and Canada store fleet. The role focuses on optimizing product availability, reducing shrink, and enhancing the customer experience through technology and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and oversee all in‑store logistics processes, including receiving, unpacking, sorting, returns processing, store‑to‑store transfers and outbound shipments.
• Implement strategies to maximize on‑floor in‑stock levels using RFID tools and establish training standards for inventory accuracy.
• Serve as liaison with Transportation and Supply Chain teams to align delivery cadence and carrier performance with store capacity.
• Lead omni‑channel fulfillment initiatives such as BOPIS, Ship From Store and emerging services.
• Develop and execute shrink‑reduction strategies in partnership with Loss Prevention and Finance.
• Partner with Digital and Technology teams to manage the in‑store technology roadmap and hardware lifecycle.
• Coach and develop a team of two Inventory and Technology Operations Specialists.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, analytics or related analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to present to executive leadership.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience leading direct reports or project teams.
