Manager, Pricing, Interchange & Data Operations – Market Development (Canada)

About the role

As the Manager of Pricing, Interchange and Data Operations for the Canada market, you will leverage Mastercard’s extensive data assets to shape pricing strategy, oversee interchange operations and deliver business intelligence that strengthens the company’s competitive position in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct holistic assessments of interchange initiatives, including financial impact simulations and competitive economics analysis.
• Develop and refine pricing strategies that align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Model outcomes across the value chain to support decision‑making and provide internal counsel on customer economics.
• Support account teams and customers with economic analyses, new‑product go‑to‑market strategies, repricing and strategic initiatives.
• Lead and contribute to pricing and interchange models, supervise cost studies and prepare recommendation materials for management.
• Manage recurring business processes that rely on SQL, ETL and data conversion into BI dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders such as Product, Finance, GTO, Legal, customers and consultants.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to structure and conduct rigorous quantitative analysis.
• Experience working with large data sets and translating insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex economic concepts to internal and external partners.
