Manager, Performance and Planning (Creating Shared Value)

About the role

This position leads the planning, governance, and performance management of a Creating Shared Value portfolio that aims to improve health outcomes across Canada. Reporting to senior leadership, you will translate data into actionable insights and ensure initiatives deliver measurable social and organizational value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual planning and quarterly performance reviews for the portfolio, aligning with strategic priorities and impact targets.
• Design and manage governance structures, including executive reporting, steering committees, dashboards, and risk management.
• Oversee portfolio‑level performance measurement, turning operational, financial, and impact data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
• Manage investment tracking, budget oversight, and resource planning for a multi‑million‑dollar portfolio.
• Coordinate with portfolio leads, project managers, and cross‑functional teams to keep initiatives on track and escalate issues.
• Prepare executive‑ready presentations, briefing notes, dashboards, and board‑level materials.
• Support the development and scaling of new strategic initiatives from concept to implementation.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with experience in planning, performance management, and governance.
• Proven ability to work with senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable translating data into actionable insights.
• Experience managing large‑scale budgets and investment portfolios.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English; French bilingualism is an asset.
