Manager, Court Orders Oversight (Bilingual)

About the role

The Manager, Court Orders Oversight is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of critical deposit and payments processes while ensuring that all court‑ordered disclosures, productions, and related activities comply with legal, regulatory, privacy, and evidentiary standards. This bilingual role partners with legal, compliance, and operational teams to protect the bank’s interests and deliver a high‑quality experience for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations for retail and commercial deposits, payments, and related services.
• Manage the intake, review, interpretation, execution, and fulfillment of court orders, regulatory requests, and law‑enforcement production demands.
• Provide legal and regulatory expertise on scope, disclosure obligations, timelines, and risk considerations.
• Lead a team, fostering a culture aligned with BMO’s purpose, values, diversity, and inclusion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes, integrate information, and improve reporting.
• Identify emerging issues, recommend solutions, and support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics, address issues, and drive change‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Proven leadership experience in a banking or financial‑services environment.
• Strong understanding of court‑order processes, legal compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
