Manager, Audit & Assurance

About the role

Join Baker Tilly as a Manager, Audit & Assurance to lead audit and review engagements for a diverse client base. You will collaborate with partners and the Assurance & Advisory team, driving high‑quality outcomes while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize audit and review engagements in line with applicable standards.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, work‑in‑progress, and timely billing.
• Mentor and train team members on accounting and auditing standards and firm methodology.
• Analyze financial information, assess risk and controls, and provide recommendations to clients.
• Review tax returns for personal, corporate, non‑profit and charitable organizations.
• Identify cross‑team service opportunities and generate new business leads.

Required profile

• Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA) with at least 5 years of public accounting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a progressive management role within a CPA firm.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and client‑service skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and judgment abilities.
