Manager, Analytics

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Analytics to lead a small, technically skilled team that turns transit‑related data into clear, actionable insight for senior decision‑makers across Ontario. The role sits within the Partnerships and Analytics Branch, supporting the planning of transit‑oriented communities and influencing housing, transit use and community growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team that delivers analysis and insight to inform decisions on transit‑oriented communities across Ontario.
• Translate complex data into concise advice for senior leadership on projects, policies and priorities.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external organizations to align information, resolve issues and keep projects moving forward.
• Build team capacity by coaching staff and supporting their development in analytics and policy.
• Strengthen data‑driven decision‑making by overseeing data collection, structuring, modelling and performance tracking.
• Provide direction, clarify roles and processes as the team takes on new responsibilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading analytics or data‑focused teams in a public‑sector or similar environment.
• Strong ability to communicate technical findings to non‑technical senior leaders.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, anti‑racist and accessible workplace culture.
• Experience working with cross‑functional partners and external stakeholders.
• Track record of mentoring and developing staff.
