Maintenance Worker – Construction Customer Care (Site)

About the role

Amacon is seeking a detail‑oriented Maintenance Worker to join its Customer Care team, providing on‑site support for residential buildings across the Greater Vancouver Area. The role involves handling pre‑occupancy and post‑occupancy issues, acting as the primary point of contact for homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs such as drywall, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and flooring.
• Conduct homeowner walkthroughs, key turn‑overs, and one‑year warranty deficiency remediation.
• Maintain accurate records and daily written updates of service requests.
• Coordinate with trades for specialized warranty work and ensure high‑quality completion.
• Inspect units to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of construction or maintenance experience (experience in construction customer care is an asset).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
