Maintenance Technician – Residential Property

About the role

Join the team at Merecroft Gardens and keep our residential community running smoothly. As a Maintenance Technician you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of building systems, ensuring each unit feels like a true home for its occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate plumbing, heating, and electrical issues.
• Perform repairs on windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, fixtures, and replace carpet, vinyl, or ceramic tile.
• Carry out painting, drywall patching, mudding, and taping tasks.
• Maintain the building exterior and perform basic grounds upkeep as needed.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report deficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance‑related role.
• Completion of a relevant trade, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on‑call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
