Maintenance Technician – Feed Mill (Full‑time)

About the role

Canada Packers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Landmark Feed Mill team. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly through both preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring safety and reliability in a fast‑paced feed manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul plant production equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Perform preventative maintenance, implement improvements, and modify equipment as needed.
• Support project teams in design, installation, and commissioning of new or modified machinery.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, meter readings, and maintenance activities.
• Schedule, track, and complete preventative maintenance on all machinery and boilers.
• Manage sourcing and inventory control of required parts.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and develop independent solutions.
• Respond to maintenance alarms on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting ability.
• Practical experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of PLC and controls is an asset.
• Licensed Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), Class 4 Power Engineer, or equivalent experience.
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s licence.
