Maintenance Mechanic – Production Line

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic ensures smooth operation of production lines at Coke Canada Bottling’s Montreal facility. You will provide immediate troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment overhauls to keep the bottling process running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Overhaul, install, and set up new equipment on production lines.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts as needed.
• Generate parts requests and maintain adequate inventory.
• Create and complete work orders, and perform equipment change‑overs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Millwright license (required); Dual Ticket (Electrician/Millwright) preferred.
• 1‑5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a high‑speed bottling environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.

Required skills

• Millwright certification.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge.
• Basic computer skills and experience with SAP.
