Maintenance Manager – Peace River Operations

About the role

The Reliability Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of the frac sand production plant and load‑out facility in Peace River. You will develop and execute maintenance strategies that drive equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and extend asset life cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team, providing coaching, performance management and succession planning.
• Drive reduction of unplanned downtime through root‑cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive, predictive and condition‑based maintenance programs.
• Maintain critical equipment lists, prioritize based on risk, downtime impact and safety exposure.
• Oversee spare‑parts and inventory strategies to support reliability and minimize outages.
• Ensure accurate use of the CMMS for work orders, failure coding and maintenance history.
• Produce reliability metrics, dashboards and reports (MTBF, MTTR, OEE, PM compliance, equipment availability).

Required profile

• Proven experience leading maintenance or reliability teams in an industrial setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of reducing downtime and improving asset performance.
• Ability to manage staffing, overtime and labor costs while maintaining a safe, collaborative culture.
