Maintenance Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Montréal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of its facilities. You will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and building systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reports and statistics related to maintenance activities.
• Read blueprints to determine dimensions, material requirements, and system layouts.
• Estimate costs for installation, repair, and preventive maintenance projects.
• Use sales‑forecasting software to plan budgeting and resource allocation.
• Administer contracts for supplies and services.
• Develop and implement safety inspection schedules and preventive‑maintenance programs.
• Hire, train, and supervise a small team of 1‑2 maintenance staff.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Train hotel staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and manage inventory of parts.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education in HVAC/R engineering technology, plumbing technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel or hospitality facility maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and physical capability for demanding tasks.
