Maintenance Helper – Mining Maintenance Team

About the role

Equinox Gold is seeking a motivated Maintenance Helper to support the Greenstone Mine maintenance shop. Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist technicians with routine tasks, learn on‑the‑job, and help keep the fleet and facilities operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform shop duties such as cleaning, organizing tools, and restocking consumables.
• Assist technicians with routine maintenance on mining equipment and vehicles.
• Provide support in the Wash Bay and Fuel Lube Island when needed.
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete delegated tasks on time.
• Adhere to Equinox Greenstone policies, statutory regulations, and safety standards.

Required profile

• Mechanical background or interest considered an asset.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repetitive tasks.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to adapt to an inclusive workplace.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience.
