Machine Operator – Part‑Time

About the role

Agropur is seeking a part‑time Machine Operator for its Miramichi facility. The role supports daily dairy production by operating filling and washing equipment, preparing ingredients, and ensuring product quality. You will work in a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate various fillers, case washers, and CIP systems.
• Perform wash‑up procedures, equipment teardown, and manual cleaning of tanks, trucks, silos, and raw lines.
• Set up pasteurizer‑tanks, silos, and production lines for daily runs.
• Prepare vitamins, mix dairy by‑products, and conduct required testing.
• Maintain batching and pasteurizing records and coordinate batch making with filler production.
• Receive and test incoming raw milk and manage inventory adjustments.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a controlled computerized panel.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to obtain a milk grader’s certificate.
• Flexibility to work changing schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Previous production line experience is an asset.
