Lounge Server - Basin Glacial Waters

About the role

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is hiring a lounge server for its new Basin Glacial Waters facility, which offers elevated food and beverage and beverages tailored to guests' wellness journey. The position is full-time and permanent, starting in October 2026, at a pay rate of $20.05 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest orders and prepare them according to their preferences
• Monitor inventory of supplies and make sure everything is restocked
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, handle complaints and ensure satisfaction
• Work closely with the culinary team on offerings so that quality and presentation are exceeded
• Keep the food and beverage areas clean, including equipment and countertops
• Ensure accurate ordering in the Micros POS system

Required profile

• Alberta ProServe certificate required
• Minimum 6 months of food and beverage experience
• Able to stand and walk throughout a shift, and lift and carry up to 20 lbs frequently, with occasional kneeling, pushing and pulling
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, overnight and other non-day shifts; applying indicates acceptance of this
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; the hotel cannot help obtain work authorization
