Lot Associate – Service Department

About the role

The Lot Associate works in the Service department of OpenRoad Lexus Richmond, ensuring safe transport, preparation and presentation of vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Transport and move vehicles safely, start them, check batteries and recharge as needed.
• Wash and detail vehicles after service tasks and keep showroom cars spotless.
• Maintain a clean, organized lot and work area, removing debris, trash and snow during winter.
• Assist the Pre‑Owned Manager with any noted issues on used vehicles.
• Provide transportation for customers and deliver parts, paperwork or personnel as requested by sales and service managers.
• Follow all safety policies, report accidents immediately and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and operate assigned equipment.
• Strong decision‑making aligned with essential job functions.
• High attention to detail and quality‑control standards.
• Capability to meet deadlines effectively.
