Loss Prevention Store Security Agent

About the role

Join TJX Canada as a Loss Prevention Store Security Agent and help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for associates and customers. You will play a key part in preventing theft, supporting investigations, and operating advanced surveillance tools within our retail stores.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, respond to pedestal alarms, and provide exceptional customer service while in uniform.
• Detect and prevent theft and fraud, assist Store Investigators during suspect apprehensions, and support civil and criminal prosecutions.
• Conduct thorough store surveillance using CCTV and floor walking, and collaborate with Organized Retail Crime investigators.
• Report alert signals, support internal investigations, and assist with internal dishonesty cases.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, associates, and law‑enforcement.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain provincial security licensing.

Required skills

• CCTV operation and monitoring.
