About the role
Join Canada Road Carrier Ltd. as a long haul truck driver, operating straight or articulated trucks to transport goods across various locations. You will work as part of a two‑person team or convoy, handling deliveries that may require cross‑border travel.
Key responsibilities
- Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy.
- Load and unload goods.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport materials.
- Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes and cold‑storage equipment.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Required profile
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence with Air‑Brake (Z) endorsement.
- Willingness to travel cross‑border and for extended periods.
- Ability to handle loads up to 45 kg (100 lb).
- Availability for evening, night, day and weekend shifts.
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
- Pass criminal record check, driving record check, drug test and medical exam.
