Long Haul Truck Driver – Full‑Time

About the role

Join Keen Transport & Logistics as a long‑haul truck driver operating on national and international routes. You will work as part of a two‑person team or convoy, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Drive semi‑trailer trucks on long‑distance routes, often in a two‑person team.
• Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo, including dangerous goods.
• Obtain and manage special permits and documentation for cross‑border shipments.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of vehicle systems, tires, brakes, lights, and cold‑storage equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs, brake adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate regularly with central dispatch and relay relevant information.

Required profile

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Valid Class 1/1F/A licence for semi‑trailer trucks.
• Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass criminal, driving‑record, and medical checks.
• Physical ability to handle heavy loads, sit for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Required skills

• Class 1/1F/A licence (semi‑trailer trucks)
• Air Brake (Z) endorsement
