Local SEO Account Manager for Client Success & Growth

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Local SEO Account Manager to drive client success and growth for a portfolio of small-business owners across Canada. In this remote-first position you will be the primary point of contact, guiding clients through onboarding, strategy, reporting and ongoing optimisation of their local search presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for new local business clients, setting expectations and ensuring a smooth launch of SEO services.
• Serve as the main liaison, handling regular communication, strategy discussions and relationship management.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports covering rankings, traffic, leads and campaign outcomes.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand client value with additional SEO, advertising or content solutions.
• Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns promptly and work to minimise churn.
• Coordinate with internal SEO, project management and delivery teams to guarantee timely execution of client strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Familiarity with Local SEO fundamentals such as Google Business Profile, citations and local rankings.
• Experience in account management, customer success, business development or agency-side client services.
• Sales-oriented attitude with the ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple accounts in a fast-paced agency environment.
