Live-In Resident Manager

About the role

The Resident Manager (Live‑In) reports to the Senior Property Manager and oversees the day‑to‑day operation, administration and leasing of a Centurion apartment community. This on‑site position ensures the property meets Centurion’s standards for safety, cleanliness and resident satisfaction while managing resources within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and co‑workers, addressing concerns promptly.
• Handle resident inquiries, feedback, complaints and ensure high satisfaction aligned with Centurion’s values.
• Market, show and lease apartments, collect applications, deposits and rental payments.
• Coordinate minor maintenance, work orders and turnover preparations to keep units rent‑ready.
• Maintain common areas, grounds, lawns and flower beds in clean, presentable condition.
• Be available 24/7 in person or by phone for emergencies such as fire, flood or injury and follow safety procedures.
• Report building or apartment issues to the Senior Property Manager and complete other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service or property management.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with solid problem‑solving and follow‑up abilities.
• Physical ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects such as furniture and appliances.
