About the role
Bow River Law LLP is seeking a full‑time Litigation Associate to join its employment and labour law practice in Calgary, Alberta. You will work on a variety of employment‑related matters, representing clients in negotiations, tribunals, and courts while providing sound legal advice.
Key responsibilities
- Represent clients in employment and labour law disputes, including trials and hearings.
- Manage case files from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare memoranda.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and support staff to develop case strategies.
Required profile
- Active membership with the Law Society of Alberta.
- 1‑5 years of litigation experience in Alberta.
- Experience in employment or labour law is an asset.
