Licensed Millwright – Manufacturing Maintenance

About the role

The Licensed Millwright will join Tilray's maintenance team to ensure reliable operation of production equipment. This onsite position involves reactive, preventive, and assigned maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, install, repair, and fabricate machinery and tooling according to manuals, schematics, and SOPs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, process, automation, HMI, and PLC issues.
• Contact manufacturers for technical support and resolve equipment problems.
• Perform system support tasks such as temperature controller adjustments, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with PM schedules, SOPs, GPP, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete documentation (work orders, calibration forms, validation documents) in the CMMS.
• Support on‑site contractors and train team members on processes and procedures.
• Maintain tools, toolboxes, and shop areas according to standards.

Required profile

• Ontario Red Seal Industrial Mechanic or Millwright license (or equivalent) with proof of apprenticeship completion.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, root‑cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet using scissor lifts and ladders.
• Willingness to work shift schedules as required.
