Legal Officer (Corporate & Contract Law)

About the role

We are seeking an ethical and detail‑oriented Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal support and ensure full compliance with national laws and contractual obligations. As the primary legal advisor, you will draft critical documents and represent the company’s interests in legal matters, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and employment contracts.
• Provide formal legal opinions on corporate matters and assess potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and procurement regulations.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and coordinate with external counsel.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting the company’s operations.
• Maintain organized legal records and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (ILPD or equivalent).
• Valid Advocate licence (highly preferred).
• Proven experience in contract law within the manufacturing sector.
• Deep knowledge of labor laws and procurement regulations.
• High level of professional ethics and strong analytical thinking.
