About the role
We are seeking a qualified Legal Advisor to join a leading financial services provider. In this role you will deliver sound legal advice, support compliance initiatives, and manage commercial contracts to protect the business.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day legal counsel on regulatory and commercial matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Monitor changes in South African law and advise on compliance implications.
- Support risk management by identifying legal risks in business operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal considerations are integrated into projects.
Required profile
- Admitted Attorney in South Africa.
- Minimum 2 years post‑admission experience.
- Prior experience in the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of South African laws and regulations.
- Willingness to be based in Cape Town or relocate there.
