Legal Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a former practicing lawyer to join our team as a Legal Account Manager. In this client‑facing position you will partner with senior leaders in large law firms to modernise practice delivery, apply AI responsibly and drive measurable commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own retention, expansion and cross‑sell strategy across a portfolio of large law firms (up to 800+ lawyers).
• Build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers, including partners, innovation teams and C‑suite leaders.
• Lead consultative, insight‑driven engagements to align customer priorities with tailored solutions.
• Develop deep understanding of customer business models, financial drivers and legal workflows to inform growth strategies.
• Drive adoption of new approaches and solutions within complex law‑firm environments.
• Consistently meet or exceed revenue, pipeline and activity targets.
• Design and negotiate customised, multi‑product offerings addressing complex client needs.
• Deliver executive‑level presentations demonstrating ROI, value realisation and strategic impact.

Required profile

• Law degree with at least 4 years of practice experience in a law‑firm environment of 50+ lawyers.
• Experience in innovation, legal operations, knowledge management or practice management is beneficial.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of new approaches.
• Experience supporting revenue growth, client retention or strategic initiatives.
• Comfort discussing commercial outcomes and guiding customers toward decisions.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of generative AI and ability to apply AI concepts in legal contexts.
