About the role
The Kitchen Manager will lead a small team in preparing and portioning food for Boston Pizza in Kincardine. This role combines staff supervision, inventory planning, and quality control to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train employees on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Hire food service staff and ensure food and service meet quality‑control standards.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare reports.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with strong oral communication skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing kitchen demands.
- Team player who can lead a small team of 3‑4 people.
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
